The Farmhouse - 2ml to Colgate, king bed, peaceful

You’ll walk into an expansive sunroom with an egg chair (look it up!), a couple of chairs, and a high-top table. The sunroom also has yoga mats and dumbbells for you to use. FIRST FLOOR From the sunroom, you’ll enter the light-filled farmhouse featuring a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, and full bath with shower. Off the kitchen is a breakfast area with expandable high top table and a living room with two sitting areas and a large, Smart TV. Also on the first floor is a formal dining room as well as a family room with gas stove, desk, Smart TV and access to the covered front porch with chairs. Have a seat and watch the chipmunks play and the neighbor’s chickens peck our newly planted grass seed! And make sure to wake up early enough to catch the gorgeous sunrise... The washer and dryer are easily accessible and the kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments, coffee, tea, pots, pans, and appliances that you’d have at home. We stay here as well so we know what the house needs to make you feel at home. SECOND FLOOR The second floor features four bedrooms and a baby room. Bedroom 1 includes a comfortable king bed, Smart TV, dresser, sitting area, and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is separated from the master bedroom by a beautiful barn door and includes a queen bed and dresser. Bedroom 3 connects to Bedroom 2 and has a day bed/trundle bed that can be pulled out to sleep 2 or the room can be used as a small living room. Bedroom 4 has both a full bed and a twin trundle bed. It can sleep 4 if the trundle is pulled out. The sitting room off the master bedroom includes a futon that can be made into a bed as well as a crib, a child’s table and chairs, and toys, books, and puzzles. The upstairs bathroom includes a tub, shower, low-flush toilet, and double sink with plenty of amenities in case you forgot (toothbrushes, Q-tips, razors, band aids, etc.) NEARBY Just a short walk on the property are the headwaters of the Chenango River. Grab one of our fishing poles on your way and see what you can catch in the trout-stocked waters. Or bring a book or yoga mat (we have plenty of both!) and enjoy the serenity of the running water. You also have access to a large fire pit area, 5-burner grill, 2 picnic tables, bikes (toddler, kids, and adults) and toys for kids. Enjoy your stay!
