You have access to the entire house. The main level consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a writing nook with a wood-burning stove, and an open air living room/dining room/kitchen with an entire wall of windows. The sunroom is a peaceful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, meditate, or do yoga. Open the sliding glass door in the warmer months to feel the breeze and hear the birds chirping. The front and back yards give children (and adults) room to run around and play. There’s even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows or just sitting around the fire and chatting. We’ve made every effort to make you feel at home! You’ll have access to high-speed wifi, puzzles, games and books, a washer and dryer, as well as Smart TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and lower level with Netflix, YouTube TV, and more.‎ The well-equipped kitchen is stocked with spices, cooking oils, ‎coffee and tea (regular and decaf), Tupperware for leftovers, blenders, spiralizer, pots and pans, and plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses, and related supplies ‎for your perusal. You are welcome to any dry goods in the cupboard and condiments in the fridge. We’re on a well and the water tastes awesome. (No need for bottled water.) There are plenty of towels in the linen closet as well as extra sheets and pillows and necessities like bandaids and Q-tips. We even provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors in case you forgot yours. Every bedroom, bathroom, and main area has separate heating controls, a definite plus in the cold winter months. The bedrooms and living room have air conditioning units for relief on hot summer days. The lower level offers a comfy sofa with queen-sized pull out couch, 70” Smart TV, a ping pong table with ball feeder, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. ___________________________________________ BEDROOMS Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, black out curtains, separate heating controls, writing desk, private, fully stocked bathroom with shower, closet, and smart TV. Bedroom 2: Queen bed, twin bed, black out curtains, separate heating controls, and closet. Bedroom 2 is located next to a shared bathroom with shower and tub. Bedroom 3: Queen bed, twin bed, black out curtains, separate heating controls, and closet. Bedroom 3 is located next to a shared bathroom with shower and tub. ___________________________________________ VILLAGE OF HAMILTON Head to the quaint, eclectic, village of Hamilton - a walking town with little shops, restaurants (outdoor seating), a small movie theater, a performing arts center, and other things to explore. Within a couple of blocks there's a whole food store, Mexican food, Indian food, coffee shops and bakeries, Colgate bookstore, micro pubs, pizza joints, and the Colgate Inn... literally everything you need! (There's also a full grocery store, hardware store, and dollar store a mile outside of town.) Don't miss the farm and craft market Saturday mornings in the spring, summer, and fall. You'll find friendly people, local veggies, meat, cheeses, and bread, homemade art and crafts, and reasonably priced food trucks. ___________________________________________ HOUSE ACCESS AND ADDITIONAL GUESTS We will provide you with a key code for the front door which you can use to check in any time after 11am. The house is partially handicap accessible. The walkway is gravel, there is one step onto the front deck and then another into the house. The first floor has everything you need - bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and sunroom. We ask that you respect our home. Please be sure to read through the Welcome Book and house notes upon check-in. It will help you make the most of your stay, as well as remind you of a few requests we make to keep you and our home in good shape.
